As senior counsel with Johnson & Ward in Atlanta, Kenneth Shigley has hsndled wide-ranging tort litigation cases in areas such as wrongful death, trucking, and insurance.

A past president of the State Bar of Georgia, Mr. Shigley has handled cases in multiple states, adhering to applicable bar rules governing multi-jurisdictional practice. Among his representative cases was an $11 million confidential settlement on behalf of a pair of family members who lost limbs in a vehicular accident. Serving as co-counsel to the decedent's family, he attained a confidential $5.7 million settlement in a major medical malpractice case. Known as a "lawyer's lawyer," Mr. Shigley has represented attorneys and judges in sensitive professional and personal matters, and has been selected by opposing attorneys as a neutral mediator in many cases.

Mr. Shigley maintains an active community presence and, alongside his late wife, was involved in the Peachtree Presbyterian Church for many years. He served as a trustee of the Peachtree Trust and is still active as an elder in the congregation. Kenneth Shigley also volunteered on the Children's Tumor Foundation Endurance Team's national advisory board for many years. With the latter organization, he competed in endurance running events such as the New York City and Chicago Marathons.
